Saklay (“a helping hand for the needy”) needed a website that felt trustworthy to Filipino donors without requiring a developer every time they publish a story. I built it in Astro 5 with a Warm Hope design system — cream surfaces, wood accents, Tabler icons — and content collections so staff can add causes and beneficiary stories by dropping Markdown files, not editing React.
The site maps the full nonprofit journey: hero with real org photography, causes grid (food, education, medical aid, disaster relief), team and journey pages, get-involved with volunteer paths, and a donate section wired for bank/GCash/QR methods once the foundation supplies live account details. Every page ships canonical URLs, Open Graph tags, JSON-LD NGO schema, and a sitemap aimed at saklay.com.

src/content/causes/*.md without touching layout code.
site.ts config.I took the same checklist I use for SME client sites: mobile-first type scale, reduced-motion respect, @axe-core/cli and Playwright in dev-deps for accessibility audits, and a DNS cutover doc so the domain flip does not break canonicals mid-crawl. Donation methods stay empty until real GCash and bank numbers are approved — better an honest email fallback than a broken QR.
Still in flight: point saklay.com DNS to production, populate donation.ts, and run a final WCAG pass before the foundation announces publicly.

@axe-core/cli, Playwright). Content collections for causes and stories verified against schema.
